how do i get the change filter light off my samsung refrigerator?

how do i get the change filter set alight off my samsung refrigerator.ive altered the filter and ran 8 full glasses of water through to clean everything out but the filter set alight is still on? its red not conservational?delight help?

Samsung Refrigerators – Press and Hold the Ice Type and Child Lock Buttons at the same time for 3 seconds.

I have an external water filter and do not need these costly filters. Also the water flow through the filter is very slow.

look online to see if they have a bypass plug, most refrig water will auto bypass when filter is taken out or manufactor will make a bypass plug to run water without filter

disconnect the water shape from the filter and bed in a plastic connector and bed in clamps.
