My Nokia N95 8GB is locked to Vodafone. Is the same to tell that is Locked to T-Mobile?

I have Nokia n95 8GB and is locked to Vodafone. Locked to T-Mobile and Locked to Vodafone is the same things?

Cell phones can be locked to only one carrier at a time. When you obtain an unlock code and apply it to the phone, the phone with then work on any GSM carrier.

I altered the lock code on my nokia n95 8gb
and i forgot it

i need the code to reset my phone
because i want to trade it in at cex but they wont take it
unless they can reset it

Possibly take it to your nearest nokia phone shop to get a system bring up to date

I did that for my n95 8gb, and it deleted a lot of things on there.

Or, you could exchange it on envirophone or something, they’ll give you £100 for it

Google “envirophone” or “mazuma mobile” and see which can give you best deal for your phone

Question your service provider.

They have the records to show that you have used the phone on their service for though long. Also they can confirm you are the title-holder if you bought it from them and used a password on your account with them.

With their help you should be able to reset the phone to the Manufacturers state and having done so you can reset the lock code to one that the retailer can use.
