Should I buy a Nokia N97?

I like the phone but it costs alot… the experts reviewing the phone on the internet are not so wow-ed by the N97 so I don’t know what to do…

In all honesty, i wouldn’t.

I had a friend with one for 2 weeks in the UK and it kept freezing when doing too much or turning itself off. sent it back twice and the same problems…

they have a blackberry now, and no complaints

You’ll get bored and regret it ! why don’t you try Nokia 5800 ??

I was thinking of export it but somehow because I have read many negative reviews and the way it’s compared to the iPhone 3GS (which is supposedly better), I’m getting an iPhone 3GS now.

But you should buy whatever you want, why not? There are a lot of cool features, and it’s a Nokia, nothing beats the durability of a Nokia!

I’ve seen SO many people review Nokia’s N97 on YouTube. How do these people get these phone before they’re unrestricted. Are they testers? If so, how do you be converted into one?

The small answer is they are in the know.

I work in mobile communications and I have received some devices months before they debut to retail.

For you – not being disrespectful – but you won’t get it if you have to question. If you are a device geek (like me), look for a position somewhere in the industry and position yourself as knowledgeable and resourceful and they will commence to drop into your lap.
