I really want the plum purple Dell Studio laptop.It’s $ 799. Does Dell have sells on their laptops so that I can get it cheaper?

Dell laptop that are refurbished, off-lease, returned, and dented are sold at the Dell outlet.

Go to Dell homepage and go to Home and Small Business.

Search in the top tab for Dell Outlet, there is selection plus search queries to see the available Dell laptop on sale.

I bought 2 dell inspiron laptops in Dignified 4th, 2009 with the promise that it’s upgradeable to Window 7 and I called Dell now March 04th, and they told me that my laptop registrations had expired and I am no longer qualify for upgrade. I am very disappointed and I feel like this is lie. I will never buy a Dell again. A huge company like Dell is doing terrible business. What can I do? Any suggestion? Thanks.

I would estimate that you talked to the first person on the phone. Call back and question to speak to a supervisor. Be polite and do not be demanding. calmly clarify what you were told and you MAY be able to work something out.

Try to contact Microsoft support.They can propose you some discount for upgrade license.

You can try talking to someone higher up, but I believe they are right and will not give you a free upgrade. You had 7 months to question for your upgrade. Many of the Microsoft upgrade programs finished in January. If you are a student, you can get a discounted copy through The Ultimate Steal program.
