My side by side samsung refrigerator makes a loud noise what can be the problem?

When the house starts to get cold the refrigerator makes a loud noise (like a motorcycle) It only stops when I open the freezer side .What can be the matter ?

You’ll find alot of freezers do this and usually it will stop after 10 to 15 mintues.

look at the ice maker. there is a thin metal bar that sometimes hangs above it in the fridge itself. all you have to do is go it upwards & the signal should quit immediately.
