Oh and how many pictures can you take on 9mb internal memory, just wondering.

If it’s not what you want then don’t buy it. Besides Samsung is an
also ran in the digital promote way below the current power curve.
Stick with the leaders, Canon, Nikon or Fuji. In the long run you’ll be much more pleased.
Also never base a pronouncement for a camera on price – terrible thought.
Cheap stuff means garbage in, garbage out.

Week 52/52
I’ve finished! It has been a fantastic year – what with starting my Project 52 with my small pink Samsung digital camera – getting a few nice pictures but then deciding that I should tap into the savings for a DSLR and went out and bought a Nikon D3000 – which I like! Having a fantastic time at University and progressing well and getting together with Jamie and having a fantastic time pouring to unsystematic seats – like the beach on the coldest and wettest day ever…just to take a photo or two. Then deciding together to get a Diana Mini film camera each! The past 52 weeks have given me more inspiration to take even more photos this year.
I did have energizer AA batteries. Now I have Eveready Gold batteries (AA). I have a hot pink Samsung Digital Camera. I just bought batteries now at 4:00 pm and got home @ 5:00. and place the batteries in @ 5:30. And just now it said, Delight replace the batteries. ????? : # (face with braces) ha ha

You can’t use regular AA batteries anymore. They have to be Lithium Ion if you want them to last. I’ve never had my Lithium Ions die over a couple of days of use.

Digital cameras need lots of power to run, and the LCD screen on your camera doubtless uses most of that power. Unfortunately, the batteries you are by don’t really hold enough power to run your camera for too long.
So, your best option is to buy rechargeable AA NiMH batteries (2500mAh or higher) and a charger. They do cost more initially, but provide a lot more power and are much more cost effective when you reckon about it. When they drain, you simply recharge them, instead of throwing them away. You could also use non rechargeable Lithium batteries, which will provide up to 5-8X more power than regular batteries.
To try and conserve your battery power, try to turn the LCD screen off in-between shots and don’t spend too much time reviewing your pretty pictures. Also, limit by the sparkle and recording of movies, as these also use lots of battery power.
