This is not really a brand new phone. Been around in Europe for a while. Basically, it can do anything say a Blackberry Bold can do. It’s not 3g however. Most notables are Downloading/Installing from the Nokia Ovi store and the ability to add email accounts from all major providers. You can also add email from work if they are using MS Exchange, have OWA and have ActiveSync enabled. Another cool thing you can do is make video calls if you install the Skype app.

Another thing you can do with this phone that a Blackberry can’t, the more apps you install on a Blackberry the slower it gets, because with a Blackberry the Operating System on them does not allow you to install apps to the memory card, with Nokia’s Symbian OS you can!! Plus Multitasking is so easy and simple with Symbian…I am saving to buy this phone

Ok, This phone is a FULL featured smart phone. I just bought mine on Friday the 22 and its worth EVERY PENNY. It does EVERYTHING they state and more. Also it runs on At&t’s 3.5G network. Yes that’s right, 3.5G. So when you are not using the Wifi, you will be using At&t’s 3.5G speeds and its FAST as HELL. I have already installed numerous apps to the phone like Google Maps, YouTube, Wilki, A streaming TV app and some games. Nokia has a website called Ovi Store you can download a ton of free apps. Or just go to another website. The camera take excellent pics and videos is good also. Call quality is good so is the speaker phone. It does come with a 4GB SD card, so that’s a Plus. Battery is great. Like I said, It does EVERYTHING STATED and more. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this phone.

hello im wondering if the sound for the text alert when you set your own song does the song last longer that 10 seconds,iHave the Samsung R451C and when iSet the song for my text alert the song only plays like 10-12 seconds havent really timed it (the ringtones iUse are 40 seconds long iMake my own) so this has to be a problem with the model not my ringtone,thank you

Hi,

I am from india, I am confused whether to choose Nokia E71 or E72, Even though reviews say that E72 is the best when compared to E71, but some ppl say that it does not have good OS?

Please suggest what would be best phone for me, my expectation are

- I would be online in gtalk and yahoo messenger (would online everytime, so this should be running always) and chat regularly with my clients
- mostly using yahoo/gmail
-use lots of social networking sites (twitter,facebook)

i have an e72 and i strongly reccomend it from the sounds of what you need. if you log into facebook, it keeps you logged in whether the browser is open or not, which could be a plus or minus. the keypad takes a few days to get used to but its very easy to use after that.
