How do you flick through the words on a Samsung mobile with predictive text?

I am used to Nokias but have just bought a Samsung mobile (SMG-D840 or something). I can’t be arsed to look through the manual. Does anyone know how to use predictive text and flick through the words?

Try the star(*) key. That’s what it is on my t629, so it’s probably the same on your phone.

Generally speaking, each cell phone manufacturer and/or cell provider has their own ringtones and message tones, that can’t be transferred to another phone or service. You may be able to purchase a similar tone from a reputable ringtone provider.
