LG is a South Korean company. They used to be Goldstar – one of the cheapest no-brand electronics firm. Now, they’re one of the best electronics firms out there.

LG is Lucky-Goldstar, a huge South Korean corporation. While the company is in So Korea, they may well use some Chinese manufacturing plants as well because of lower costs. I don’t know for sure, but it’s pretty common in electronics manufacturing.

I have a LG Electronics GSA-4163B Multi Burner, it does not recognize Verbatim DVD-R DL DVDs. Does it not support burning to 8.5 GB DVDs?
Any help would be greatly appreciated mates……

according to what i was able to find on the internet, no it is NOT a DL burner….sorry
