Sprint phones. Samsung Instinct or Blackberry Curve 8330. Which is better?
by cromely
So i’ve been comparing these two phones and i just cant choose. Estimate i need some feedback from others on what they reckon of these phones. I want to get the best Sprint phone!
I’m certainly wanting to be able to use the internet on my phone, check e-mails and such. Also want to make sure the calls coming through signal excellent. Then be able to send picture mail as well.

I have the instinct, and I like it. Except for when it freezes, which it does each now and then, once it froze while I was getting a call and I had to take out the battery, but I lost my signal too during that call. I wouldn’t let that stop you from getting one though, because it doesn’t do it that much, mainly it does it when I loose my signal in the middle of doing something.I came with an extra battery which is awesome. I would certainly recommend the Instinct, it is the best phone I have had.

Well, it depends what you’re looking for:
Samsung Instinct: Just plain cool. If you’re into multimedia, music, etc., this is the phone for you. Downsides are no built-in keyboard (on-screen only) makes it somewhat trying to text for some, interface has some bugs (which are being worked on).
Blackberry Curve: It works. Well. It’s primarily a business phone, which means you won’t have a flashy interface and limited options regarding multimedia. It’s also got integrated messaging – Facebook, AIM, Yahoo, etc. One major downside which is not widely renowned is that Sprint has a bug which prevents you from sending texts while on a phone call – This may not be an issue for some, but a deal-breaker for others. Sprint is supposedly working on the issue. One other downside is that without export a 3rd party application, emails are text-only, which means no pretty pictures when you’re viewing emails, but is fixable with some additional software.
I personally upgraded to a Curve about a month ago and haven’t looked back since, but again, it’s really up to your personal preference. Hope that helped!

Answer by neverdugdisco
Im pretty sure that you can’t.. Cricket uses thier own sim cards that aren’t compatible with any other phones. I had Cricket for a month and I despised it! I stopped paying it and they keep sending me bills..
