How can i watch Youtube online on my Nokia e51 ?

Hi. I want to watch youtube online on my mobile phone , Nokia e51. Can you help me ?

Sure. There are no less than 4 ways to do this:

1. Launch RealPlayer from m.youtube.com by your S60 Browser.
2. emTube
3. Mobitubia
4. CorePlayer

Note that users are reporting issues with 2 and 3 (both are third-party apps). I recommend CorePlayer for the best quality. You can read my review of it below:

Locate the Flash Player application on your phone, open it and look for version information through its menu (like Options->About)

If the Sparkle Player version is 3.0 (or greater) you should be able to view sparkle videos in the browser so just open http://www.youtube.com (not http://m.youtube.com) and click on the video to have it play in full screen.

HP mini-note, macbook & nokia e51

The HP mini-note is running Ubuntu 8.04 (Hardy Heron) and the Macbook is running OS X 10.4 (Tiger). If you’re attracted the Nokia e51 runs Symbian OS v9.2 + S60 3rd Edition, Feature Pack 1.

I bought the Nokia E51 and i was just having a hard time setting up my email account from hotmail on it, I am not too sure what to do. I have seen other websites showing how to set it up for other email accounts so is it possible to set hotmail up on it? If so how do i do it?

No; there isn’t. Hotmail and Yahoo’s free versions of mail don’t allow you to access e-mail except via their web site. To set up an e-mail account on your Nokia, you’d need the names of the incoming and outgoing mail servers, and Hotmail and Yahoo’s free mail services don’t make those available. You CAN use GMail, and they will give you their ma?tre d'h?tel names, so that you can talk directly to the mail servers to send and receive mail.

*Add your e-mail account to Microsoft Outlook Express*

If you have a Windows Live Hotmail Plus subscription, you can use a POP3 (POP3, or Post Office Protocol 3, is a protocol that’s used to retrieve e-mail from a mail ma?tre d'h?tel.) ma?tre d'h?tel to add your Windows Live Hotmail account to Microsoft Outlook Express and access messages there. If you download and bed in Windows Live Mail, you can add your Windows Live Hotmail account to Windows Live Mail and access your messages and contacts there.
Use a POP3 ma?tre d'h?tel to add your Windows Live Hotmail account to Outlook Express

1. In Outlook Express, click the Tools menu, and then click Accounts.
2. Click Add, and then click Mail.
3. Type your name, and then click Next.
4. Type your full Windows Live Hotmail e-mail take up, and then click Next.
5. Enter the following information, and then click Next:
* In the My incoming mail ma?tre d'h?tel is a box, click POP3.
* In the Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP, or HTTP) ma?tre d'h?tel box, type pop3.live.com.
* In the Outgoing mail (SMTP) ma?tre d'h?tel box, type smtp.live.com
6. Type the account name and the password for your Windows Live Hotmail account. Clear the Remember password check box unless you’re the only person with access to the computer. Make sure that the Log on by Secure Password Authentication (SPA) check box isn’t selected.
7. Click Next, and then click End.
8. In the Internet Accounts window, click the Mail tab, click the Windows Live Hotmail account that you added, and then click Properties.
9. Click the Advanced tab, under Ma?tre d'h?tel Port Facts, enter the following information, and then click OK:
* In the Incoming ma?tre d'h?tel (POP3) box, type 995.
* In the Outgoing ma?tre d'h?tel (SMTP) box, type 25.
* Under both Outgoing mail (SMTP) and Incoming mail (POP3), select the This ma?tre d'h?tel requires a secure tie (SSL) check box.
10. Click Close.

Nokia’s Email client requires the same settings as Outlook Express, namely a set of POP3 (or IMAP) and SMTP servers. But since Microsoft only provides access to such resources to Windows Live Hotmail Plus subscribers …

If you have such a subscription use the info provided by Hotmail to fill in the needed settings into Nokia’s configuration dialogs. Pretty standard stuff.

If you do not have such a subscription you could try http://mail.nokia.com (see if they give you access to Hotmail) or join GMail.com, they give you free POP3/IMAP access.
