Smartchip registration failed? Nokia 2610?

So i just bought this small go phone from Walmart only about 30 minutes or so ago. As soon as i turn the phone on it says Smartchip registration failed. Can anyone tell me why this is happening and how to fix it? It would be greatly appreciated.
ok so wat should i do? turn it on turn it off rechagrge it? and while rining up the phone she had a small distress with it so i reckon mayb it didnt ring up properly…this is my 3rd time having problems with gophones this week

You may have to wait a small longer for your phone to be converted into registered to the system. When you bought it, Walmart activated it but sometimes it can take a couple of hours.
