Best way to drain the battery of a Sony Ericsson Z525a Cell Phone?

Best way to drain the battery of a Sony Ericsson Z525a Cell Phone?

On my ancient model, the Sony Ericsson Z500a ( http://www.sonyericsson.com/spg.jsp?cc=us&lc=en&ver=4000&template=pip1&zone=pp&pid=10138 ) I used to be able to turn on the screen set alight (and also when the phone was closed the set alight on the front of the phone stayed lit) so the battery would drain quicker so I could completely drain it to assure me that I would have the longest battery life possible by making sure when I charged it it was drained all the way. But now i have the Z525a Model ( http://www.sonyericsson.com/spg.jsp?cc=us&lc=en&ver=4000&template=pip1&zone=pp&pid=10439 ) and there is no such option anymore. I can make the screen brightness at !00% but thats about it but the screen saver still kicks in and then the screen turns black so it doesnt really do anything. I messed up my ancient battery by charging it before it was completely dead (with the z500a phone) so I dont wanna do the same thing.

EVEN IF THE SCREEN ISN’T ON, THE PHONE IS STILL WORKING, OUT THERE LOOKING FOR A SIGNAL WAITING FOR A CALL. TURN IT ON AND LEAVE IT ALONE. REMEMBER, SOME BATTERIES HAVE A 6-13 DAY LIFE ON STANDBY. IT MAY TAKE AWHILE, BE PATIENT, IT WILL DIE EVENTUALLY.. I’M NOT SHOUTING, I’M NEARLY BLIND.

So, my sister’s boyfriend bought a Sony Ericsson w850i about a year ago, and used it in anticipation of April or so, but then for some reason he stopped by it.
Now, my cell phone is a piece of crap, honestly, so now my sister said I could have it, but she had over and done why he didn’t use it anymore, and I figured out that the mouth piece is broken. (I can hear people but they can’t hear me)
Is this phone still under warranty if it is a year ancient, or is there a small trick someone knows on how to fix this.

If it’s just a mouth piece try by a Bluetooth headset or a regular headset. It’s about the same thing, since I’m assuming you’re going to use it for music as well. Also you can take it to a cell phone store (best to go to a Chinese phone store) and they will replace it for you, it’s around 25$ , Excellent luck.
