I don’t know if it is possible yet. I would suggest you to do a dual boot installation. windows on one partition and linux on other.

I can’t get my software to connect to my phone. The computer reads that the phone has connected, but the software doesn’t. When I go into the manage relations part, the “configure” button is faded AND in the “Get Connected” section, all the options (Cable, Bluetooth etc) are also faded. I’ve tried changing USB ports, tried uninstalling, reinstalling, restarting PC, the troubleshooter… etc etc and I can’t get it flat.
I use to transfer my Media by going through”My computer > Nokia Phone Browser” but, now it comes up with a message “Operation can not be completed”
I don’t suppose anyone has any thought what is incorrect?
Or how I can fix this?
I doubt this will help, but I have a Nokia 6500 Slide ^.-
Version of Suite; 6.84.10.4
And I have Nokia Suite enabled on my phone
Also my phone is unlocked
Oh, and yeah, it’s never had problems til now =P

First of all, I take upon yourself that you are by the USB cable that was provided by the sales pack of your phone to connect to your computer with the Nokia PC Suite. If it is, I would like you to try the following steps shown below:
1) Go to you computer’s “Control Panel” and look for “Add/Remove Program”
2) Scroll to “PC Connectivity Solutions” and click on “Change”.
3) Delight click on “Repair” to run the application.
4) Once the application has completed the repair, delight restart your computer and monitor the issue.
Should the issue persist, I would like you to uninstall the Nokia PC Suite along with the affiliated applications such as the PC Connectivity Cable Drivers and the PC Connectivity Solutions. To remove these applications, delight follow the steps below:
1) Go to you computer’s “Control Panel” and look for “Add/Remove Program”
2) Scroll to “PC Connectivity Cable Drivers” and “PC Connectivity Solutions”, then remove these applications.
3) Delight restart your computer.
Once the computer has been rebooted, delight follow the following steps:
1) Bed in the Nokia PC Suite once more. (Ensure the cable is not connected to the computer during installation unless prompted)
2) Once installation is complete, insert the USB cable to the computer. Try by a different USB port if possible. (Once inserted the cable should be detected as a new hardware and the drivers will commence installing automatically)
3) Connect the cable to the phone and select the in commission mode as “PC Suite” and the phone should be detected as a new hardware as well.(the remainder of the drivers would be installed.)
4) Run the Nokia PC Suite and then select on the “Get Connected” button.
