Are Kodak digital cameras considered junk now?
The reason I question is there’s this liquidation house in town, and they’re ALWAYS promotion Kodak digital cameras. They’re like $ 69 or $ 99 or whatever for 8 or 12 MP cameras. What’s up with that? Is Kodak out of business or something? Why do I never (rarely?) see Kodak digital cameras in other stores, amongside the Fujis and Sonys?

Kodak’s just kinda low end is all, but not junk. Mostly renowned for being extremely user friendly first, with quality and features coming second.
They’re cheap to commence with. Under $ 100 isn’t that much of a discount.

Some Kodak camera shape have had extensive problems, of note is the C series. Other series have been ok. Before export a specific Kodak camera I would check out consumer reviews such as Amazon or this one

With Canon, Nikon and Fuji out there why would you even consider this junk? Never, ever base the buy of a camera or other vital item on price lonely – not a excellent thought… you will be disappointed.

I am from europea and i never seen a Kodak Digital camera on these shores. Must mean something!
If you check yahoo answers you’ll find quite a few problems with Kodak Camera’s. Quite a few more then Fujifilm cameras. And then you have Canon or Nikon who are quality seen quite on the top.
I dread that if you buy Kodak Digital Camera’s you really buy on the cheap and there have been corners cut on vital issues. One of the common issues is Batterij life..something that might was accepted in 2002 but now a digital camera should have a decent battery life.

I’m plotting on export a digital camera soon and I was just wondering which Kodak Digital Camera is best. Some of my choices include: Kodak Easyshare V1273, Kodak Easyshare V1073, Or the Kodak Easyshare M883.
I was also wondering if Kodak is a excellent Camera brand & if not, Which camera do you consider is excellent.
Answer by Blacksmith
Why Kodak? It’s not a excellent brand for “Cameras” believe me.
I’d suggest to go through some reviews before you make your pronouncement. My favorite site for this is: www.dpreview.com (You may need to know the basic elements in digital photography to make a excellent choice)
Finally, I’d go for Sony, Canon, Olympus, or Panasonic. Those are the really excellent ones.
Excellent Luck…

If you are looking for the best Camera – you need Nikon or Canon SLR. Try new Nikon D60 or Canon Rebel XSI
