Close up of my ancient, ancient cell phone. I dearly loved its glowing blue keys.

Ok, so I have an ancient Samsung cell phone. I want to trade it in for a Motorola Razr. But can I do it at a Verizon store?

Plus, I haven’t had my phone for three being yet.
If I can’t find a razr, what would be the best cell phone for me for over $ 50?

If you are on Verizon, NewEveryTwo would let you get a new cell phone that is $ 50 or under for free. If the phone is over $ 50, it’s $ 50 off. You’ll need a plot $ 34.99 or up for this to work.
The answer: Yes.

Verizon doesn’t do trade in’s persay everywhere you get some money towards a new phone if you bring in your ancient phone. What they will do is take your ancient phone and recycle it after transferring any data you want transferred (i.e.: contacts, pics). They have a new each two feature to help you with upgrades, you’ll have to check online, in the store or call 611 to see if you are eligible for the new each two.

I’m not even sure if they still have Razrs available for Verizon as I did not see any in their store the other day and they are not available online either.

There are plenty of phones available for under $ 100 for a 1 or 2 year contract as well as some that are just a tad bit over $ 100 and some that are free. Again these would all require you to sign a new 1 or 2 year contract.

Your best bet is to go into the store and really play with the working store models to see which one suits your needs better.

Excellent luck!
