Nokia n82 black...no support for 3G US?

I keep reading that the soon to be unrestricted nokia n82, will not have US 3G support (HSPDA), but instead come with the 3G euro standard. What does this mean ? What is the diff, will I be able to use 3G (if that even makes sense), and by the way i’m up in Canada, haha, so will it matter?
Thanks.
nokia n82 black version.

3G euro standard is on the 2100 MHz band. US 3G uses 850 and 1900 MHz for HSDPA. I judge Canada uses the same but you’d have to check. A quick search on Rogers wireless shows that they use the 1900 MHz band for UMTS/HSDPA which earnings the Nokia N82 would run at EDGE speeds on their network.

I’d say it’s better to buy the Titenium version, it looks more solid and you’ll see less fingerprints on it.

About the phone, it’s the best camera phone ever build since the n86 has been unrestricted.
