the light on the power button(orange) of my samsung t220 went out. how can i fix it?

there should be light in there right?

Dude unless you really need the light don’t touch it. If you open the case and get to the led solder it off and solder a new one on that’s risking a lot. I say leave it unless you like doing that type of stuff. So I just told you hapw to do it.

Hey.
My screen(samsung syncmaster t220) light wont work… the screen is very dark, but i can see whats on it. When i turn on the screen the light is perfect but after 2sec the light is gone.
help?

It sounds like the backlight has failed. LCD monitors have a fluorescent light or set of lights that sit behind the LCD panel itself to light the screen. It’s the same type of fluorescent light technology that are common in the tube-shaped light bulbs in offices and stores and in peoples’ bathrooms. Like all light bulbs, the backlights in monitors can burn out, and it sounds like that is what has happened to yours. The actual LCD panel that provides the colored pixels is still working fine, but its backlight is dead.

If the monitor happens to still be under warranty, send it back to Samsung and request a replacement or repair. If it is out of the warranty period you’ll probably just need to buy a new monitor, as repairs to LCD screens are often nearly as expensive as the purchase price of a brand new one. Sorry that happened to you.
