Try Windows Movie Maker, which comes free with Windows XP system by default. It usually locates under
C:Program FilesMovie Makermoviemk.exe
If this one doesn’t work, try some additional commercial movie making software for more advanced options, for example, I use Wondershare DVD Slideshow Builder to make youtube videos and burn DVDs.
It’s less than 50$ and simple to use.

I can you cam make your photo slideshow by PowerPoint. With PowerPoint, you can place music into slideshow, and place a lot of pitures in it.

I’m thinking about getting an Acer mainframe and I have a Wacom Rattan pen tablet that I will be using on it. My main program is gimp. Will my tablet lag if I use it on the Acer?

I wouldn’t have thought so. I use a Wacom tablet with GIMP on an ancient Windows XP machine – and that works fine. Most modern computers, which are nearer than my ancient business, will have no problems with GIMP.
