epson printers not compatable with epsom ink cartridge?
by Rain Rabbit
Hi.. I bought an epson ink cartridge but when i place it in the printer it says it’s not compatable. Doe’s anyone know why ?
Answer by ☼
Epson printers are notorious for not recognizing their own cartridges.
Take it back to the shop and question for a replacement on the grounds its faulty.
Answer by Express-Inks
Epson software updates contain new codes that recognize ink cartridges. They exchange these codes so remanufactured ink cartridges won’t be compatible. This also makes their cartridges also incompatible.
Take it back to the store and have them switch it out. You should also turn off automatic updates to avoid future issues.

Before charitable up, try turning off and unplugging your printer. This may maybe help to reset it.
