Well if you are tied to a particular network all you have to do is call up the customer help line of the service provider and question them for the unlocking code, which will be provided to you for a nominal amount of money.
You can also get the unlock code through online……….i will suggest the website http://www.unlock-zone.com/ which is doing excellent service …..you can deal with this website.

iPhone, now on T-Mobile!

On my ancient iPhone 3G (3.1.3; 05.12.01), I ran Spirit for Mac to jailbreak, then installed Ultrasn0w from Cydia to network unlock. Rebooted with T-Mobile SIM.
Sure, internet data is limited to 40/90 Kbps up/down due to incompatible frequency bands, but honestly it works better than AT&T’s 3G in San Francisco.
i really want a t-mobile phone but our family uses att because of my parents’ jobs and there is no way we can exchange to t-mobile unless both my parents quit their jobs!which is not happening! lol but anyways i really like the t-mobile phones and i was wondering how much it costs if i get a t mobile phone and unlock it for att….by the way i need a phone asap so the nearer the better! thanks!

T-mobile shouldn’t charge to get your phone unlocked. There are generally specific criteria that need to be met on your account before they will, such as life finished your contract etc (unless you bought your phone at full retail price – which will require proof of hold).
There are some programs you can hold on ebay/supplies that range from $ 10-$ 50 to have your phone unlocked.
My suggestion is to call t-mobile and find out their policy on unlocking their handsets. Legally, they cannot refuse you an unlock code if you are finished your contract etc.

wait so are you buying it in full price? well for me thats a rele terrible thought, you can just go to mobilebee.com and look if that fone is listed in at&t, cuz my family have tmobile and i want an lg shine but its originally in at&t so i went to mobilebee and its listed in tmobile so i got it, and they are going to unlocked it for you for free.

you would have to find out from your community att but I am not sure why you would want a t-mobile for att it can get pricey. if you would want a free phone through att check this link and see if I have any for your area.
