Help Nokia N-series users ! :(?

nokia failure

some software has gone wrong in my N-78 mobile such that when I text some times what happens is text gets stopped sending and it immediatly informs me to resend the text in the outbox in Messaging. When it happens, then iam unable to send any text after that… There was a code which I have used several times in other nokia mobiles which resets the cell phone memory and flushes all the data inside it and that was holding power-off button , 3,star button and call button while the cell phone was off… holding all these buttons together until the cell gets restarted will renew the phone memory and clears all the viruses present in it. But it doesnot work in new nokia N-series like N78… now my problem is to get rid of that text msg failure headache so do u have any ideas, tricks , codes or anything helpful whch helps me get rid of this text problem ?
Guys ! I found the answer myself after some research on Google. The thing actually I was talking about was Hard-Reset and the correct answer is while the mobile is powered off, holding the keys “3″ +”star” + “Multimedia Key” and afterwards holding the power on button will flush all the phone memory and viruses (everything u stored in phone mem). Actually, there’s a slight change in hard-reset of N70/N73 and N78. The only change is Multimedia key. Thanks anyways ! :-)

Well, that code is for reformatting the phone and it should work N-78 as well. However, since you it’s not working, you need to restore it to factory default.
*#7370# (Dial this code and you’ll be able to reset your phone to factory defaults, after you enter this code, you phone will ask for password which is by default, 12345. In case you haven’t changed it.

You can do the same thing by going into phone settings and RESTORE FACTORY DEFAULT.

I hope this will solve the problem.

why is this shit popular?

I’ve recently purchased a nokia headset to use with my ps3. I’m able to pair it, test it, and everything works great. But the minute i try and play COD4 or something it can never connect to the game server. If i turn my headset off i can join a game fine, but if i turn my headset on again during a round it works for while but slowly degenerates from there. The game gets laggy and i eventually get server connection failure.

Could my headset be interfering with my wireless connection? If so how do i remedy the situation.

Please dont tell me to get another headset.

so what do you want us to say? it’s actually the best time to try another bluetooth headset because you said you just purchased it recently. Meaning you can still have it exchanged. if you have a friend who has a bluetooth headset, try to borrow it and see if you have the same problem. if everything is ok with a different blu2th, then you really have to get another blu2th headset.

My phone was working quite well up until a few days ago. Now, the only button that works consistently is the power button. In the discussions forum from Nokia two other people have said they also have the same problem. Is this a common problem among Nokia N79 users? Oh and I have the North American version if it helps anyone. N79-3
