Q&A: Is Nokia N95-3 compatible for 8gb micro SD card?

First of all thanks very much for reading my question, hope every one of you come up with your experience on my question.

I got this Nokia N95-3 ( the one with SDHC slot) recently. I found differnet reiews regarding compatible memory cards on the internet for this mobile. Some excellent websites like amazon.com …etc says 4gb is maximum memory supported for this piece. But I found few additional websites/blogs claiming scandisk 8gb cards are compatible as well. I want to know the view , if somebody used 8gb card on this mobile.

I used 8gb (class 2) card to see how is it going…….

1. I am not able to see all music files in music player -> albums though I was able to see all music files on it in tools-> file manager-> card memory…….

2. Not able to assign unique ringtone to a contact from my phone memory/card memroy…..

3 Not able to assign unique ringtone to group any…….In both cased, when I try to select ringtone from ‘options’ menu, I am getting only two options…..- downlod music or default.

Not able to assign persons files I saved on to the phone memory………though I see them in phone

memroy………

4. But able to assign theams….wallpapers…etc additional stuff……

5. But ironically, I can do all above stuff when I use 1 gb card (that came free with my device)….I mean I can see all my music albums in music player…….I can assing all my music files as unique ring tones to my contacts…..etc

With this we can conclude that N95-3 can handly 4gb card at maximum ( believeing some what better websites like amazon???)……….guys may maybe you please advise me your experiance on 4gb?? is it excellent, if yes , I can at least go with 4gb memory card./……..

Proper manners is needed to get a question answered. By adding so many unneeded paragraph breaks, you make this question very hard to read. It is so hard, that I am not going to attempt it, and I will just answer the question in the title.
8gb card is supported on the newest firmware of the 95-3
Perhaps if you rewrote this so public may maybe read it, you might have many more answers to your question.

i have a nokia n95 aswell, and my phone was doing the same, you need to download app for it. i downloaded this app called ownskin, you can download it right off your phone, go to downloads, click on ownskin icon, this is were you update your nokia. im not sure what phone you have, but i have the north american version, but all nokis should up this update on it.
