Will my old blackberry still receive my yahoo emails?

I recently has my blackberry stolen. I got a new one and reprogrammed the yahoo mobile to get my emails. Will my old blackberry still receive my yahoo emails? I did contact the service provider but they just disactivate the line.

That old blackberry is a dead piece of hardware if the service deactivated it. No problems.

No. Before a message is delivered to either phone, it passes through the cell phone carrier’s database to make sure that the message is being sent to the correct phone. This is done my matching the serial numbers of the phone. Now that you have your new phone activated, your eMails are safe from whomever may have your old phone.

I already have an old blackberry curve, and I wanted to know if I used this phone, how much would it be to start a new plan on Verizon? And can you have a prepaid plan with this phone, if so, how much would that cost?

The first thing you have to determine is who’s cell tower network the blackberry is configured for: sprint, verizon, at&t, etc. The curve usually will have the particular company’s logo at the bottom directly below the long “space” key.

You are asking about Verizon. So if that logo says Verizon you are okay there. If it has somebody else logo. Then you really just have to call Verizon Wireless 800-922-0204 and say I have a so & so company blackberry, will it run on your network? People will give you different answers, but only verizon is going to know for sure.

You ask this question with any company and any phone.

www.verizonwireless.com has all their calling plans cost listed right on the website. They also have a link for prepaid plans.

But I think the most important thing of all is you never said where you got the phone. Because if that phone is still attached to somebody’s cell phone account, and they still owe money, then most companies will not activate it.
