As far as brands go in electronics during your life have you been more partial to Panasonic or Sony products.?

SONY, easily. Their harvest have always been durable, innovative, and versatile to me. I’ve owned their TVs, DVD players, record game consoles, A/V receivers, CD players, computers, and just about everything else they’ve ever made (even Betamax) and pretty much always been pleased with it. If I ever wasn’t, they made sure I was real quick. But, Panasonic does have Sony beat on microwaves

Panasonic. If it’s audio it’s mostly Lead the way up to 1995 or so, but persons Matsushita Electric cats are peachy keen and mighty clever.

Both are fantastic brands, but Personally i like Sony because they seem to place a small more effort into stylishness than Panasonic does.

I’m rather inept to electronics so after a rather frustrating year of disappearing remotes, as well as constantly using the incorrect remote for the incorrect function, I’ve chose to program all the controllers collectively.

Is it possible to program my Panasonic TV to my Samsung Blu-Ray BD-P4600 controller? And if so where do I find the information to do this?

If the remote control is a learning remote then yes. Most tv remote can be programed to lear additional commands from your additional gear. Check the owners manual of your blur ray disc player along with the one for your tv. It will provide you the direction on how to program additional commands to it from your additional gear. Hope this will help you out.
