Q&A: How to transfer my contacts and messages to my computer via PC suite? NOKIA N73 Music Edition?

One way is with the nokia data cable, but you will likely need some software to receive the data on the PC end.

I’ve had some success with a piece of software called LogoManager (logomanager.co.uk) in the past. If you have a bunch of free SMS on your plan you can use something like SMSKeeper.com to save your messages as you go, but its kinda tedious if you have a large number to save straight away.

If your computer and phone both have bluetooth you may be able to use that instead of a data cable – and sending all contacts via bluetooth should be handled by windows without the need for any software.. though sms would be a tricker…

after you connect the phone with the cable select the mass storage option displayed …. that does not require PC suite

connect phone to pc via usb cable, locate your phone’s memory storage(drive) on My Computer, drag and drop music files, disconnect phone from pc, update music library on your phone. that’s all!
