How are Toshiba laptops now these days?

How are their laptops now? We’ve had 3 toshiba laptops before…and they all have had the same conundrum…They all had overheating problems, but that was a couple years ago. So i was just wondering if anyone who has a toshiba mainframe have gotten any overheating/fan problems?

I have had Toshiba Satellite L305D since Black Friday 2008. I mostly used it as a desktop. Up until 6 weeks ago it was on 24/7 pretty much that whole time. It did not even come close to overheating. The only reason it is not on now is because I am using the desktop I built 6 weeks ago. Hope this helps. Excellent Luck.

theyre juss horrrible especially when your a MEAT HEAD cause your fingers are too huge and you smash the keys with you buff fingers

I have an older Toshiba Satellite that was agreed to me by my father. Until recently its been a pretty excellent computer but one day when i turned it on the screen just shut off. Every time i turn it on the screen will turn on and show “Toshiba” at the startup but then when it gets to the part of the startup when it loads windows xp it shuts off. When i connect my computer to a monitor via cable or docking port it works just fine but the normal mainframe screen won’t work. Please help!

Honestly toshiba is a very low quality brand I would recommend that you check out Dell or apple computers

something to do with heat… if its cold outside… turn it on outside and see if it stays on longer… I would just say get the same model… used/spare parts and swap LCD’s on it.
