iPHONE PRICE?

OMG
i heard about the new iphone price!
apparently its 200$ for 8GB and 16GB =300$

is it possible to buy it outright for that much or do i have to go on vodaphone/optus plot to get it? (they are the only networks that cover the iphone in australia, not sure about additional countries).

Not sure about the whole Australia business, but the way it’s working here in the US is that persons prices are the 2 Year Contract prices. In additional words, if you want the iPhone, you have to sign a new 2-year contract with AT&T.

A “no commitment” price has not yet been determined.

ok so i thought that the new iphone 4′s price was 199 for an 16gb but when i go to telus.ca(http://www.telusmobility.com/en/ON/iphones/index.shtml?INTCMP=ILCq4ph5) it says that it is
649 with no term why is the price so much higher

maybe it was a limited time offer
but i phones are REALLY expensive!
at first i thought it was only $ 100 but everyone told me that it was $ 600 something….

$ 199 is the price when you sign-up for a contract.
The no contract price is obviously gonna be higher.

if u have att currently check and see if u are up for an upgrade. if not it will be the higher price. if u are new to att then u will pay 199 for 16 or 299 for 32

$ 649 without a contract or $ 159 with a 3 year contract. All phones/devices are priced this way.
Contract prices are lower because the carriers will make their money back over the 3 years.
