can you get free internet on a Verizon wireless phone?

i have the Samsung intensity on Verizon wireless but all i can do is call and send text messages. Can you get free internet on this phone without even letting Verizon wireless know I’m using the internet? how? if there is a way, would Verizon wireless know I’m on the internet? How much is the Verizon wireless internet plan? is it the same for every phone or does it cost more on smart phones?

In short, no. Not on that phone anyway. Internet starts at 9.99 for 25 MB a month

Some smartphones have the ability to get WiFi, but you still need to pay the $ 30 a month. The multimedia phones need a minimum $ 10 a month data plan.

Verizon MiFi 2200 Connection

I already had an Alltel Internet connection that I inserted into the USB port of my laptop to access the Internet when we were away from the house. That meant that Jim had to use a phone line and log onto AOL. It was always a pain.
Now with this Verizon Wireless MiFi card, we will be setting up our own network and will be able to connect both our laptops to the Internet.

I’m charging the card now. Later we will plug each laptop to the card via USB cable. It will only connect to laptops that have been paired with it.

I want to get verizon wireless internet on my laptop. How and where can I get the peice, how much does it cost per month, and i already have a verizon phone….so will it be added to that bill?

there are 2 ways and both require going to the verizon store and buying a part either an “air card” or an “air port” which one you need will depend on your laptop. Then you have subscribe to the service and it will be added to your bill. I don’t know what verizon costs but cingular/att was $ 100 for the card and $ 50 a month for the service. I have heard verizon is a cit cheaper.
