Because it’s one of the nicest, simplest phones to use. I have 2, a Miami Ink and a Cherry Blossom and like them. I switch back and forth. They are about 3 years ancient.

It’s product placement. A company pays the movie makers to feature their harvest in a movie. The companies hope that by seeing their product life used in the movie, the viewer will hold the product themselves. It’s not as overt as a commercial, but the goal is the same.

You need to call Cingular and question for the unlock directions.
Or find a cell phone shop. Don’t buy codes from the internet. Chances are they won’t work.
I hope the phone ain’t “hot”. lol
