Samsung SyncMaster 793DF is a conventional CRT computer monitor. Compared to additional conventional CRT monitors on the market, it is relatively inexpensive at around $ 140. You can use this monitor with your MAC or PC system. The 17″ model has a depth of only 14.9 inches. This monitor is a excellent choice if space is tight. It is calculated for persons who merely need a basic monitor

The main difference is that the 793DF will work with a MAC or PC and the 793MB is compatible with a PC only.

Samsung Monitor that I bought for my Mum.. It’s so gorgeous I nearly took it home for myself.

I am using a new samsung monitor with my IBM thinkpad. How do I exchange the resolution – it does not seem to be as apparent as it should be. Also, should it be using a digital or analog signal?

Press Alt + F4, then select monitor options and click optimize.

If this is an external monitor then you would need to check to see which kind of cable it is connected with. If it is connected to a blue finished cable with about 10 pins in the end, then it is analog. If it is a white finished cable with about 25 pins in it, it’s a digital signal.

The resolution settings can be found when you right click on the desktop and then choose properties and then go to the settings tab. Exchange the settings on there until you find a background you like.
