How do you silence the low battery alert on Motorola cell phones?

In particular, model E815.

As far as I know, the only way to get that annoying beep to stop is to put your phone in “Silent” mode. This seems to be the only way to shut it up without turning it off.

Simple; charge the battery.

Go to settings and somewhere there you should be able to turn the low battery tone off
