How do I text people from Kuwait on a Verizon Wireless phone?? I text the 011-965, but it doesnt work? Anyone?

I have tried about two times sending text messages to two cell phones in Kuwait, it is just hard.

Do you reckon they need to have a certain cellphone system to accept a Verizon text message? Or am I not doing something right with the dialing? Thanks guys, I am really clueless, and I really want to make phone calls, keeping in touch with my friends from camp. Thanks!!

Use 001-965 then the number. I reckon they changed the numbers from 011 to 001 recently. When I call Qatar I use 001, but I use at&t.

+11 xxx-xxx-xxx, the +11 is Kuwait’s country code, the 1st 3x is the service provider and the 2nd and 3rd 3x is the number of the phone. be sure that you enter persons number to send or call your friend in Kuwait. i hope this may help you.
