OMG!!

The SE C702 is incredible!
The only reason i didn’t get it is because it doesn’t really suit me and i don’t need such a tough phone.

I highly recommend it though. I work at a phone shop and we haven’t had any back.

It’s splash, dust and shock strong.
It’s made out of some really excellent materials too. No software issues or anything so far.

Very excellent phone, glad your looking at it =)

How do I fix video lag on a Nokia 5800 Xpressmusic?

I have recently bought a Nokia 5800 Xpressmusic. I have managed to fruitfully upload music and video files into it. Though, the video files (which are rm/rmvb (real player files) are lagging. Their sizes range from 60 – 80 mb.

Generally Windows Movie Maker support .asf, .avi, .m1v, .mp2, .mp2v, .mpe, .mpeg, .mpg, .mpv2, .wm, .wmv. If you use Vista it also support .dvr-ms.

Users say that it is a very slow phone and prone to scratches. I would tell you to research and equate it to the Sony ericsson w810i. I have it and the service is incredible. it ‘s features and capabilities are outstanding. It has it all, 2.0 mp camera with video, 3d games, walkman mp3 and fm radio, and tons more. But there are even better models out there. So before switching go to sonyericsson.com and check there complete list out, trust me you’ll be glad you did

when we open Pc Suite Nokia Program it keeps telltale us that it can’t find drive ??? we tried each thing and nothing is working except to reinstall windows ….

Tested Nokia PC Suite v6.82 with Windows XP SP2 on N70, 6260, 7610 & 3230 – no problems at all! Fruitfully upgraded firmware on the N70 as well.

I only buy used cell phones for my own use as so many go to waste and pollute the environment by going to a landfil. Ther are plenty of people that can use your ancient phone. YAY the Glyde has an bring up to date… so if you have one or don’t, this is a video of the ancient Samsung Glyde. You’ve doubtless all seen and heard Justine talk about the iPhone… Well I’m done with Justine and her iPhone! What about the competition!? I finally got out of my contract with AT&T/Cingular! So switched back to Verizon (’produce I’m so “in”)! Anyways when I tied there were so many choices… LG enV, LG dare, and LG explorer, oh and the blackberry PDA’s. Then I saw the new Samsung Glyde and it looked like it was a combo of all three LG’s. I don’t know why Samsung couldn’t just settle with Glide, but I estimate the Glyde makes it look slick. I tried blowing under the keyboard and it worked but now i reckon there’s something under the “1″ key and it won’t go form underneath. Right now in order to press 1 i have to press down really hard and it feels like something is blocking it. Should i try popping the key off or would that mess up the keyboard? Or should i try fitting tweezers in between the space between the keys? Someone delight tell me what to do:(.

Smartchip registration failed? Nokia 2610?

So i just bought this small go phone from Walmart only about 30 minutes or so ago. As soon as i turn the phone on it says Smartchip registration failed. Can anyone tell me why this is happening and how to fix it? It would be greatly appreciated.

You may have to wait a small longer for your phone to be converted into registered to the system. When you bought it, Walmart activated it but sometimes it can take a couple of hours.

You will need to go to an ATT store and buy a new Smartchip.
Somewhere along the line your phone must have questioned for a PUK code? After too many attempts with the incorrect PUK code the Smartchip becomes permanently disabled. This is a security feature.

well….with the above specification u’ve mentioned…..i feel that lg makes excellent touchscreen cell phone and also the signal quality is better.
I would personally go for the LG Renoir….8mxp camera…Dolby digital surround(feels awesome) and 3 inch touch screen….it does not matter whether the jack is 3.5mm or not……..signal depends upon the manufacturer and not jack). I’m export a renoir(yes i’m in mumbai) and getting it from abroad….costing me ant 550-600 US$ . Nokia has lost its charm now…even a “bai” what we call has one….so the better will be the renoir….it rockz!!!!!

Winamp Library with my Nokia N75

Now I noticed that Winamp automatically supports and manages my Nokia N75 phone right in the library! And it does this over Bluetooth automatically!!

How cool is that? This screenshot if showing the music I now have loaded onto the Memory card of the phone. I can go files to and from the phone with this interface.

This is obviously facilitated through Nokia PC Suite which I have installed. I just never thought such integration would happen automatically.

On another note, you can see my iPod there. I do not use iTunes (or even have it installed.) Winamp does a perfect job of managing the my 5G iPod Video. To be honest if I couldn’t manage it with Winamp I would have sold it and bought something else.

I have the back up for my ancient Nokia in pc suite. How can i copy it to my new phone. When i try to connect via bluetooth it says, ‘cannot use the tie type. check that all the needed hardware, software and drivers are available’.
what does it mean? and how do I go about it. My ancient set was N72 and the new one is 2700 classic.
Bluetooth is on. i dont know how to check the status in my pc.

Why did AT&T block the feature of the front camera for the Samsung Captivate?

The Samsung Galaxy S (which is the Captivate) has a front facing camera to do video chatting, but AT&T blocked this feature. I personally believe if they would of unabled it the Samsung Captivate would of been a WAY better cell phone then the Iphone 4g.

There is no front-facing camera on the Captivate. What you think is a camera lens is probably the proximity sensor use to detect when you have removed the phone away from your face when talking. My Nexus One and other Android phones have this feature. It wakes up the screen when you remove the phone from your face, so you don’t have to unlock it.

Why would AT&T have Samsung design a phone with such a feature, just so they could “block” it? That makes no sense.

It’s not a camera.

The UK and one or two of the US versions of the Galaxy S have front facing cameras and flash. at&t had theirs removed so that it wouldn’t compete with their prized iPhone 4.

When I saw that, I knew it was the right phone for me.

i have a samsung impression registered for the at&t network, but i have a tmobile service simcard that i would like to put in it and use. everytime i put my tmobile sim card in, it tells me i have to enter an unlock code. anyone know how to do this?

You need to get your phones unlock code. There can be many ways to get your unlock code. If your contract period is complete you can ask your cellular operator for the unlock code. But, they do make it very difficult for you to get the code.
You can also visit http://www.unlock-zone.com/ and can see different options there to get unlock code for a price. Choose any price appropriate for you.
