Will a blackberry bold 9650 work with t-mobile if unlocked?

I just got service with t-mobile and i have a blackberry bold 9650 that i want to unlock and give to my mom to use with t-mobile. Anyone know if it will work?
It’s a verizon blackberry and it has a slot for a sim card.

My friend needed his Curve 8310 unlocked from AT&T so I started looking online. I found several for $ 15 but then I saw one at http://www.unlock-zone.com/ for $ 9.64 and chose to check it out.
