how can i connect my samsung phone to my computer?

your phone has bluetooth. And see whether your mainframe has bluetooth. If mainframe has bluetooth, enable it. and transfer images and additional stuff from mobile to mainframe or vice-versa.

if your mainframe doesn’t have bluetooth, don’t worry, buy bluetooth dongle and connect it to your mainframe and then transfer.

install drivers for your phone in mainframe (if neccessary )

I have a Verizon LG VX6000 with lots of names, numbers and associated memo fields. Verizon will transfer the names and phone numbers when I upgrade to a new phone, but the contact groups associations and memos will not transfer.
Is there a way I can dump ALL the information on the LG VX600 into a computer then copy that back out to a SCH u540?

You should be able to take both phones to your community Verizon store and have them transfer the info for you. We did that with our phones and all the info, groups, and everything was transfered. If that won’t work you should be able to plug both phones into your computer and transfer the info. I am not sure if you need a specific program to do that or not, but I know my brother was able to place all the info from his phone onto ours. If all else fails, call Verizon and question.
