What does the "satillite" in Toshiba laptops mean?

Please help me. I need to know : )

Thanksss = D

Answer by AtR Anarchy
The “Satellite” name is simply a model brand name and therefore the laptops bear no technical association to terminologies used in “satellite phone/satphone” or any modes of data transfer via orbital satellites.

Satellite is just a model name, like Dell Inspiron, or Acer Aspire

Nothing, it’s just a brand.

well the best business to do is compare them base on the specs such
how quick the cpu? how much ram does it have? how huge the hard drive?
does it have bluetooth? does it have N draft wireless card? what size of the screen? what Operating system does it come with?

the key business to look at really is warranty. They both offer 1 year warranty some has 3 years. But but Toshiba is better when it comes to warranty there’s more authorized service centre compared to HP. Basically if you have an issue with Hp you have to send it out to them and it can take between 3-5 weeks of course it all depends on the availability of the parts if required. With Toshiba take it any authorized shop someone to talk to one one one rather then life on the phone. And it will be quicker to your place.

So if service is vital to you I suggest Toshiba. Regardless if you go with HP or Toshiba they both offer reasonably similar specs.

hope that helps

go for the first answer. But to also help you out on buying a mainframe. I reckon and recommend a MSI mainframe. It’s a 10inch mainframe thats lightweight, uses xp, you can get 1gb or 2gb ram. I would go with 2gb ram. and cheap. Comes with mic and webcam. Built really excellent. Stable. Quick. But if you’re looking for a larger screen they also have that too for the MSI. check it out.
