how to degauss an LG CRT monitor since it does not give a menu unlike other monitors?

The monitor gives out different hues of colours at the corners when put on.

Not all monitors give an option in the display menu to degauss a monitor. Sometimes you have to use a combination of buttons to degauss it. My Samtron 55V can be degaussed by pushing both the brightness and contrast buttons simultaneously. Check out for the model of the monitor and download the manual from the website if you don’t have one. If you do have a manual, it will be specified as to how to go about doing this.

If you dont have any option to dimagnitize your monitor, the option available is to open up the cover, unplug your monitor first then open up the monitor cover, you can see a wire that was covered by a tape around the tube (Electrical, PVC, Cloth like tape) and you can see a two sets of wire colored in black and white with white connector. disconnect it and turn on your monitor without the cover, be carefull not to be close to the tube, RADIATION is emitted through it. then power it off then put it back again. that should work normally again.

I am also using the same from last two years but I never faced this problem.They are also giving the good service for warranties.Don’t worry go ahead with it. It is the best.
