What's the best camcorder with a swivel screen and decent video quality?

I’m looking for a camcorder that has:
-Swivel screen
-Portable size nothing too huge
-SD card slot
-And if possible, can take pictures

My budget is no more than $ 250. I know that I won’t get flawless quality with this much but I want the best I can get with this budget. I was wondering if anyone knew of any camcorders that I may maybe look into purchasing?

One business you can do is look on say best buy and then go to cnet and do reviews on all of them in your budget range until you find the best one.

The Everio Camcorder is a very user-friendly camera. It may not be in your budget though… i forget how much i paid

I just started up my own youtube direct with a mate and the camera we are using does not have the best sound quality. we make do with what we got. but it would really make our day if we may maybe get another one. now im the one who does all the filming/control so i am of course going to buy the business. I’m looking for something with really excellent sound/record quality and memory! and sadly i am only 14 and do not have a lot of money so i need something relatively cheap. and i have looked at a lot of questions already and public are thinking that $ 250 is cheap!!! im looking for something under $ 150 maybe $ 100 if i can get away it ah aha.and also, i am a tiny bit of a tech head i like computers and phones and Ipod and i know a lot in that area but when it comes to cameras im so lost so bear with me…… any suggestions ? right now i have a 2 year ancient samsung ES15 digital camera.please get back to me i really wanna be making excellent quality youtube videos soon!!!!!!! or another option is if there is any really excellent quality cameras/camcorders on ebay then im open to buying there….

I know! Get the FLIP camcorder. It’s the best cheap one you can get! It picks up sound VERY well and the quality is AMAZING! It doesn’t take pictures though.

Mine has a one hour memory, I got it for $ 120.. and when your done, you plug it in to your computer and you can empty out the files and keep filming!

It’s perfect for this!! Excellent luck!

Consumer level HD camcorders have 3 problems. 1) Blurry, fuzzy, out of focus areas closely around public in videos taken by consumer level HD camcorders. 2) Any movement, even a wave or lifting an arm, while in front of a recording consumer level HD camcorder, results in screen ghosts and artifacts life left on the record track, later the movement. Makes for terrible record, sports videos are unwatchable. 3) Mandatory maximum record times – 1 hour, 30 minutes, 8 minutes, 3 minutes – all times advertised as maximum record time for some consumer level HD camcorders. No event I have ever been to is that small. Any take multiple camcorders or pack up with out getting the end of the event on record.

With a MiniDV tape camcorder, record 60 or 90 minutes ( camcorder settings), 90 seconds or less to exchange a tape and record for 60 or 90 more and repeat till you run out of tapes.

You can get a List ZR960 for $ 250. It is a MiniDV tape camcorder, has a Mic jack. You need a firewire (IEEE1394) card ($ 25 to 30) for the computer and a firewire cable (less than 10) to be able to transfer record to your computer.

I bought my sanyo CG20 one week ago and I am really really pleased with it.
Firt, it’s realy cheap, and the image quality is outstanding. I recorded in full HD 1920×1080 at 60i and the results are incredible. I watch it on my 40 inches hd tv and the record was still incredible and very apparent.
Also, the pictures you can take with the camera are really fantastic, they are as apparent as a excellent picture camera.
