Unwanted T-mobile upgrade Nokia N96, is it locked or unlocked?

I have the Nokia N96 as an upgrade and already have a excellent phone so i want to sell it. Is the phone loked to t-mobile or is it unlocked. Is there anyway i can find out?

Delight note that my Nokia N96 is still in it’s box and sealed and has a 16GB memory

It is locked to T-mobile.
If it wasn’t, it would have costed much more.

I’d sell it on ebay, lol. No really.

It depends on how many GB it is, but around 400USD I’d try for, produce it is used.

It’s really a gorgeous phone, dunno why you want to sell it.

I want to buy a nokia n96 when it comes to the U.S and get it unlocked (from a U.S provider or England provider). Everywhere can i go in the U.S to get it unlocked??
I kno i can buy it unlocked outright but that would add a $ 200-$ 300 price difference , so everywhere can i get it unlocked from plot or how much would be additional charge to get code ?

You can buy the phone outright and it will be automatically unlocked. Or you can get the unlock code from everywhere you buy the phone, at a charge
