Nokia n97 mini memory full error?

Hi,

My Nokia N97 mini is charitable me the message “Memory full. Close some applications and try again” much too often.

This happens when I try to open applications (even when none is open yet), when trying to open or read or answer to a text message, when trying to browse internet, opening a contact, etc…

I tried everything, I even sent it back to have it repaired. I reckon they only reinstalled the full OS, firmware and applications. But now, just two week after the phone came back, I have the same conundrum.

Turning the phone off and on again doesn’t solve the conundrum, or only once out of 4 or 5 times. Sometimes I just can’t use my phone for one or two days at all except to receive phone calls.

I have went the message memory to mass memory, cleared the internet cache (when I can access the option), removed unwanted applications, made sure I only installed new applications on the mass memory… I’ve tried all advices found on internet, but really nothing worked til now.

Has someone a real solution for this conundrum? I’ve read in some forum (nokia website for example) that it might be RAM memory conundrum but could not find any hint on how to solve this.

The best advise i can offer you is to to check in the electronics mart then if that fails contact the manufacture…

I like both phones, but I’ve read on forums that the N97 Mini’s battery life is terrible; it’s the only thing that’s keeping me from getting the phone. BTW is it comparable to the 5800 Xpressmusic’s battery life (I own one and the battery lasts three days under normal usage; an hour of wifi, no 3g, texting, moderate calls, music)?

What more can you expect from a touchscreen smartphone ? But still I would go with Nokia N97 mini. Nokia E72 is also a very excellent phone but N97 is better. If you need Nokia N97 Mini or E72 cheaper without contract, you can mail me to manchurianp@yahoo.com
