There is a knocking from my LG refrigerator recently, can anyone help?

I have an LG refrigerator model digit LRSC26940SB for a couple of being now. Recently, there has been a knocking (approximately 8 of them, evenly paced) that occurs each 15 minutes or so.. It has to be some sort of mechanical failure or reset or “change the something” indicator, can someone help me?

This is a 00.00 refrigerator bought from Best Buy and I have had problems from the start. It is about 11 months ancient. I will say that Best Buy (Geek Squad) service has been excellent. I believe that I have a lemon and that LG should step up and replace the unit. I have had 7 service calls and the ice maker unit has been replace twice. I am concerned about what will happen after the warranty expires.
