How to stop my downloads from pausing when I am using my Nokia n78?

When I try to download a file by my Nokia N78 it pauses and I have to go to options and select resume download then again within sometime it pauses and again i have to go options and select resume download. Is there any way to keep a download on without constantly selecting resume download

I have the N78 and nothing like this has happened to me…try restoring your phone back to factory settings by dialing *#7780# and possibly that will resolve the issue.

Really, it’s a firmware error/bug. I reckon your phone’s firmware version is grown-up than version 20.149 (check it by typing *#0000# in the standby mode). I had the same conundrum with my N78, when it had firmware version 10.x and 12.046 . But, after the last upgrade (to the latest version, 20.149), I found the conundrum flat. Now, the browser doesn’t pause the active downloads automatically. They’re done in the background if the download-administrator is hidden or the browser is minimized. It is only paused if the tie fails or I pause it manually. Now, I can use other applications without interrupting the downloads. Besides this bug-fix, there are some other bug-fixes, improvements (especially in speed and routine), new applications, a new theme and a digit of new pre-loaded videos in this firmware-bring up to date.

Nokia n78 runs on a symbian in commission system. I cannot find skype for the phone to make voice calls. I have been told to bed in fringe, nimbuzz etc. which is best?

Use Startec. No need for softwares, just add their access digit to your speed dial, and call it for making international calls. It will call through their serve, nothing to do with yer service provider. They will charge you online from your deduction/credit card based on the destination you call. You can click for rates on their website. I use it, and I don’t even have a smartphone.

With computer though, I use Rynga.com and VoipZoom.com PC to PHONE calls. It gives a ton of destinations free, once you recharge the account with 10 euros ($ 14). For PC to PC, anything works – Yahoo, Google, MSN, Skype, etc. are all free.
