Is Dell Dimension C521 compatible with all monitors?
The monitor has blue or white connectors on the back.. should I buy any widescreen DELL monitor or another brand?
Answer by aviatingamateur
My uncle has a Dell C521.. It has a single VGA output on the back (the motherboard uses nVidia’s 6150LE on-board graphics with a single VGA port).
It will work with any monitor that has a VGA port, regardless of brand.
Hope this helps.

From my personal experience you don’t have to get a dell monitor you can use any monitor of your Choice. Even the most of the time it is perferably better to us a dell, but I have always use what I could afford or thought would be the best for my likeings. I suggest to use which brand you like or think is the best to your standerd.

This is what it looked like before powering the computer up.
I would like to get a Dell monitor for my macbook. I was wondering if they worked with them. I know that i will need to get the mini-Dvi to VGA adaptor. Do i need to instal drivers?
* The monitor is a Dell S2409W Full HD Monitor.

Macs work with any monitors that work with PCs. As long as you purchase the appropriate adapter you’ll be fine. You should really look to purchasing a Mini-DVI to DVI cable, as you’re looking to power a nicer monitor, you want to have a digital connection with full resolution. I just looked up your monitor to confirm it accepts a DVI connection.
In conclusion:
- Yes your MacBook will work with any regular “PC” monitor.
- Use DVI for better picture quality and resolution

Hey everybody, I just purchased a Dell Professional P2011H monitor as I need to have a larger desktop space to work with and I’ve been very happy with this monitor so far. I’ve searched on youtube and there was only one quick video of the OSD and that’s it, so I figured I’d make a video to show others how it is and how it operates. The monitor offers awesome tilt, rotate and swivel options to make it easily customizable at your desk and to your liking. Hope this video shows you guys how nice of a monitor this is for the price. Since I am new at this, if anybody wants any other videos of the monitor, or wants to know anything specific just let me know and I’ll do my best to explain and/or record another video.
