Answer by Chloe J Yes the Sony Ericsson does have voice control. If someone calls you before it rings it will say its name for you so you no who it is calling. Its a really impressive phone.

I am a current Verizon customer, and want to add another line on. I have a 2 yr ancient Samsung phone (by Verizon) and want to activate the line and start a family plot under Verizon, instead of my current individual plot.

Answer by CMass Stan The only stumbling block I can see with the phone, since it’s a 2-yr ancient phone, is whether it is E911 capable. If it is, VZW will activate it. If it isn’t E911 capable, they’ll tell you they won’t because of FCC mandate.
E911 capability allows the cell phone company and community safety to track down your place via your phone much more easily than they may maybe at least 10 yrs ago.

Answer by Lance R Never gonna happen, they are 2 different technologies and not compatible with each additional. AT&T a GSM carrier using a Sim card simply wont work with Verizons CDMA phones. Likewise there are no Sim cards available for Verizon service.

I currently have a t220HD and I don’t understand why people are saying it looks good with the ps3. The pixelation is terrible! The edges on everything looks messed up and jagged. I suppose this would be because the ps3 is outputting 1080p but the monitor is only 1680×1050. I’ve tested the ps3 with Asus ML238H full HD 1920×1080 monitor and it looks great, so I’m wondering if I should buy the bigger T240HD which is true full HD with a res size of 1920×1200. Would it look the same as what I am seeing with the Asus but with black lines at the top and bottom? Here are the specs of each:

Answer by MPCheu Depends on what mode you put the monitor into. Both monitors are capable of extrapolating to the screen’s maximum resolution if given a source that’s lower resolution. Keep in mind that upscaling will also produce artifacts, just as downscaling does on your current monitor.
If you leave the monitor in native mode, it will display the image in the native resolution of the source, which would entail black borders where the screen is larger than the image. In your example, it means black bars above and below the image.
You’ll have to figure out which is less objectionable to you.
I have been reading some reviews regarding this monitor and many users are complaining about a buzzing noise the monitor makes when the brightness is turned down. Does anyone know if I should purchase it or is this a known problem on all these models? Also, how well does this monitor perform to the Dell 19″ widescreen monitor?

Answer by cojle2009 I don’t have either of these monitors but I do know that the 19 inch Samsung was rated one of the highest monitors by PC World in their 100 best products of 2006, the Dell was also, but it was a little bit lower. If you don’t feel comfortable buying, go with the Dell, I know that they produce good LCD monitors and have won awards for them. The monitor I have is a Benq. I don’t know how it stands to todays standards, but when I bought it around two years ago, it had better quality than any other monitor I could find. So far I haven’t had any problems with it and it works great. As long as you go with a pretty common brand such as Samsung or Dell, you should get a pretty good monitor. If there is a problem with it, I’m sure they would be able to help fix the problem.

Answer by einchen I have a Samsung CLP 300 Color printer and from experience, the Samsung CLP 300 does the job well. I have it for 5 months now and I use it mainly to print shipping marks and packing slips (about 20 pages per week). According to the log, there is still 75-79 % of the original toner remaining hence it’s economical. The printer never jammed perhaps I go out of my way to buy a quality paper no lower than 20 lb, I mainly use 24 lb paper. As for color printing, it prints close to color on the screen when printed on regular paper. Prints on photo paper is not terrible but of course the printer is not meant for photo printing. I have not bought toner cartridge replacement yet but it costs around $ 100 or more for the 4-pack black and color set.

I have a Samsung ML2851ND that is scorching the paper whenever it gets a paper jam which is frequent. Samsung won’t honor warranty and blames scorching on the fact that we use printer paper that is 10% recycled. Does anyone know if this a common conundrum or if I’m getting jerked around by Samsung?
Answer by smedrik Paper can be an issue on some and getting caught in the fuser will singe the page.
First question would be are you by a laser paper or multi-function?
Multipurpose ID are often a small rough (to suit inkjets) and will bind up in a high speed laser.
Try another paper, you can use a recycled stock, though get one designed for use in laser printers only. If you are still having a conundrum then you should have a talk with Samsung.
Does anyone know a printer for Samsung galaxy tab? what app do i need to use it? I was browsing the other day and sort of wondered what printers i could connect with my galaxy tab without going through a PC. I want to print directly from phone to printer? is it possible?
