What are the differences between Kodak's digital cameras?

There are several different models with printing docks. I have the C743 digital camera and dock, My camera’s LCD screen messed up, so I’m getting another and noticed they had a number of models. Which is most recent? The best? Takes the best close up pictures? Thanks!

Kodak is number 2 in worldwide digicam sales (2006).

As for ruggedness, I see a lot more questions starting with “My EasyShare won’t work” than any additional brand.

That depends … my neighbor has one that is over three years ancient and it still works without fault.

If on the additional hand it is treated like a cell phone or hockey puck, then the life expectancy on ANY compact digital camera is small.

The worse offenders are fluids and gravity.
